A new show called Master of None was released on Netflix a few days ago and you have got to check it out! It's hilarious, relatable, and perfect for young adults.
The show comes from the creative minds of Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang. Many people remember Aziz from Parks and Recreation or from his numerous comedy specials found on Netflix. I am personally a huge fan of his. He's hilarious and everything he says both in his stand up comedy and his book Modern Romance is so relatable. All that and more is translated into this show.
Master of None consist of 10 episodes about a guy named Dev and his life living as a working actor in New York. It tackles issues like gender and race equality, relationsips, having kids, and overall navigating young adulthood. With issues like that is would be easy to fall into a boring flow, but this show never does that. Every episode takes on a new topic while still keeping a consistent story line. All in all it's a great show that will keep you laughing while at the same time reflecting. Don't just take my word for it, though. Head over to Netflix and check it out!
