Thank You President Obama.
Thank you for improving this country. Under your leadership we have improved health care, employment rates, and foreign relations. This country is in better shape than it has been in a very long time sure to your tireless efforts over the past 8 years.
Thank you for making everyone feel like a part of this country. Regardless of race, gender, or sexuality you never ceased to hear out the people’s concerns and opinions. Both you and Vice President Biden truly made the White House feel like America’s house.
Thank you and your family for showing America that successful Black people, with class and grace, exist outside of the Huxtables. You and the beautiful women of the first family have inspired the community and showed us that we are far more than what “they” think we are.
Thank you for being my President. When you were elected I was 13 years old. I understood how incredible it was to have the first Black President but I didn’t realize how monumental it would be to me as a person. With a Black President and his outstanding family in the White House during my formative years, I felt as if I had no limitations. As you stated in you farewell speech, race relations are far from being completely solved but they have definitely improved. That’s something I’m very grateful for. Without you, I’m not sure if that would be the case.
Thank you for everything. You will forever be my President.
