Dear 2024 Lisa,
Hey Girl! First of all, congrats on all your success. I have a few ideas about what you’ve accomplished, and you’re doing big things.
What I really want to talk about is your growth. I know you’re more compassionate, strategic, responsible, loving, thoughtful, and confident than you ever have been. You’re basically a baddie and only getting badder by the second. Right now I’m working on being more consistent in all areas of my life right now. I know you’re reaping the harvest of that and planting even more seeds as we speak. More importantly I know you’re using what you’ve worked for to bless others. You’re standing in OVERFLOW Girl. Won’t He do it?!
So let’s address the elephant in the room... you’re almost 30. That’s probably not as daunting to you as it is to me. There’s a whole list of things I wanted to do by 30. Whether you’ve done them or not, I want you to remember one thing always- God’s got a plan. You know Him well enough to know all things are working for your good. (Romans 8:28-34) I just want to give you a reminder that you’re walking in His perfect will for your life. Don’t even worry about it, Girl. (Luke 12:25-26) God’s got you.
The last thing I want to tell you is that I love you. I’m so proud of you. You’re a great friend, sister, daughter, wife, aunt, mother, entrepreneur, storyteller, motivator, and all around woman. Through this whole letter I just wanted to speak life over you. I love myself now and I know with time you’ve just given me more to love on a deeper level. If I keep writing this letter will just get longer and longer and you don’t have time for that. You’re too busy out here in these streets winning. Again, I love you and I’m so so so so proud of you.
